More needs to be done to fight pediatric cancer. These children deserve better treatments and outcomes. Only 4% of the money that is raised to fight cancer goes towards pediatric cancer. We have a set-up a fund for Anna Charles through CURE Childhood Cancer. The money will go to Targeted Acute Myeloid Leukemia research. AML (AC's cancer) has 65% cure rate, but it drops to less than 10% if it relapses. More has to be done.
Peach Bowl Touchdowns for Children’s (T4C) is a wonderful opportunity to support the patients cared for at the Aflac Cancer Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, while also cheering on your favorite college football team. As a fan, you have the chance to help kids treated at Children’s by pledging as little as $1 for every touchdown scored by your favorite team during the 12-game season. The company or organization that raises the most money, along with the college team whose fans raise the most, will be named on the 2019 Anna Charles Hollis T4C Trophy.
The primary purpose of The Anna Charles Hollis Fund is to fund clinical research relating to acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or research reasonably expected to provide significant and direct benefits to children diagnosed with AML.
